The Chhepu Motif: At the very top of the frame sits a prominent carving of Chhepu (a mythical creature akin to the Kirtimukha). In Newari culture, Chhepu is a symbol of protection, often depicted devouring serpents to ward off evil.
Tiered Pinnacle: The structure tapers into a traditional, ornate peak, mimicking the classic temple or window crowns seen in ancient durbars.
